Tim Foley, PT, OCS, COMT

Tim has 30 years of physical therapy experience with more than half that in the Mid-Columbia area. After graduating from Pacific University in 1979 and practicing in Eugene for 11 years, Tim moved back to the Gorge, where he grew up.

Tim’s first five years were spent in a hospital setting including over a year with in-patient rehabilitation working with people with spinal cord injuries and strokes. Since then he has devoted his career to out-patient care.

He studied for six years through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 1997. He opened Tim Foley Physical Therapy in 1996. In 1999 he passed the test to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. In 2004 he became a Certified Mulligan Practitioner.

Tim’s interests include providing manual and manipulative physical therapy and helping patients with neurological conditions. He emphasizes teaching people to correct postural faults and regain normal movement patterns.

He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys studying language. Yoga, bicycling, hiking, and skiing keep him busy during off hours. He is encouraging Wendy, his wife of 30 years, as she completes her masters in Oriental Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland. His new very special past time is visiting with his granddaughter, Dylan Claire.
